STAR VETS
Another rapidly growing facet of STAR is STAR VETS. This is the part of STAR Touring that recognizes and honors the many people that have served our country. To become part of STAR VETS you have to be currently serving in the Armed Forces or have served in the past and be able to provide proof of service. If you currently are serving in the military, all we need is a "Letter of Service" from your commanding personnel office. It must be on letterhead, list the years and months you have been in the Armed Forces and be signed by your commander. If you are retired or have left the military service, all we need is a copy of your DD-214 or Discharge papers.

Ladies of the STAR - LOS
Ladies of the Star or LOS is a facet of the STAR Touring and Riding Assoc., consisting of women motorcycle operators and enthusiasts. The purpose of LOS is to promote a positive image of women riders and help encourage more women to become a part of this fulfilling sport. Membership is free with the full STAR membership.
Our LOS members are Karen Cambell, Barb Desabrais, Nicole Desabrais, Terry Murphy, Cathy Thomas, Rose Walsh and Lauralee Whitten.
TIN STAR
The purpose of “Tin Star” is to allow Star Touring to identify a team of volunteers in time of need who are qualified as one of the following: Physician, Nurse, Police Officer, Fire Fighter, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, Search & Rescue or other special emergency training. If an accident or emergency occurs, or a member is in need of assistance, the “Tin Star” member in the group could be called on to lend a hand and/or to take control of the situation, until the local emergency services arrive. Star Touring at times needs special assistance from people trained as a police officer, physician, nurse, fire fighter, paramedic, EMT or Search and Rescue.<>

STAR KIDS and STAR TEENS
As a paid subscriber of STAR Touring your children will be able to participate in STAR KIDS and STAR TEENS at no additional cost. The purpose of Star KIDS and STAR TEENS is to promote positive, safe motorcycling to children. Your children will receive a Star KIDS or STAR TEENS patch and identification card as part of your subscription.
